The 44th President of the United states of America, the first black man to be sworn in for decades, who is also an African and the president of the whole world!.

When I write this statement I tremble, before the Lord God Almighty, for the big things that He can do. From ordinary to the greatest, President Barack Obama now proudly holds an authority no other man has ever received, direct from God. What God can do no man can do!

With confidence he says and admits that America is in deep crisis but confirms and gives hope that he will turn things around. ‘Yes we can’ turns to ‘Yes we will’. Let’s all back him up and build America, Kenya, and the whole world. continue reading…

When they Acted, they Triggered a Change!

When it was happening around me, I could really feel it, see it and suffer it. Am talking about the election outcome that affected Kenyans of all walks of life, from Eastlanders to Westlanders to Southerners to Northerners. Where the effect was felt by the richest to the poorest. But as a Kenyan, I was quick to note that the following guys contributed the most towards change whether negatively or positively and need to be appreciated. Otherwise we would not be where we are today! Am not saying others didn’t do anything. Get me right here!

God was and still is the one behind the peace and reconciliation so nothing will go wrong when He is in charge. Better things are coming.

Honorable Musalia Mudavadi
He announced ODM victory even before counting was concluded. This created a lot of confusion to every citizen and questions started strolling down their minds. “What is going on?” In short all hell broke loose and people realized cheating is cooking in the elections kitchens.
Honorable, VP Kalonzo Musyoka
When he left ODM, most of his followers left with him otherwise ODM could have won without opposition. But that was not the plan of God! There was supposed to be a coalition government. It was quite oblivious that hatred was reigning over Kenya even days before the election. How would the country be now? I do not want to imagine. Kenyans would hate each other like nothing before. Now there is togetherness. The three giant parties coming together to lead this country to the next level. Its exactly what we needed! But there was blood shed meaning that there was a big opposing force from the devil himself to prevent the country from being the best African Country. Big shame on the devil. He can not win when God is reigning.
Honorable Michuki
Once a man always a man! He exercised power even when he was least expected. He shut down all media stations from reporting anything that was happening hours after acts of violence were reported in different parts of the country. “Until further notice!” Only one channel was around to stream out information that was already strictly sieved and that is KBC (Kenya Broadcasting Corporation). Well, if you asked me, if he didn’t do it, Kenya could be worse than Rwanda. Remember Rwanda was using radio stations to catalyze the killing. Think about it! “Kudus” to Honorable Michuki. He could see the possible outcome of the reporting, Simply “Blood Shed”.
Honorable Samuel Kivuitu
mh! He kept reminding us that he is not afraid to die. He acted professionally, delayed the results and finally declared President Kibaki the winner of the election. He had to do his work and that is what he did best. After the announcement, more and more killing witnessed. But, may be, just may be, that was what was meant to happen for a gland change in this country. There were two opposing giants. Any could win and rule over this country. They deserved 50:50 power sharing. Both sides were capable of delivering anyway, so something was to be done. Make them one!
His Excellency, President Kibaki
He took the swearing in as the next Kenyan President like a real man even with the terrible situation that had overshadowed the country. Hey, you guys say President Kibaki is a coward? he proved you wrong that day! He just has different ways of leading but he isn’t a coward. He has remained the president till now and is gonna go for his 5 years term. But he deserves it! He is the best in that Position.
Pastor Pius Muiru
Even if he came to witness his defeat in KICC he realized that he is not placed there for such a reason but to call upon the name of the Lord in KICC and Kenya for the peace of God to rule. He realized that the church has failed at that particular moment and raised his voice to ask God for forgiveness and to come and lead the rest of election undertakings. Things started flowing peacefully from that moment.
Honorable Martha Karua
The Only Man PNU had at that moment. She kept fighting for results and what amazed me the most is the fact that she fought for Kenya, when she was being interviewed by the White gentlemen, (BBC) if I can remember. She assured them that Kenya can do better without any help from international guys. Wow! we need more men like Martha Karua to come out. I mean women who are men! She assured me too that she is not in the government for power but for this country. Hongera, Honorable Martha Karua!
Honorable Raila Odinga.
He moves things, this man. He kept on fighting for what he thought was right for him and for the country. His continuous pressure saw this country where it is today. That is why I commend him for what he has done. The one thing I remember him do is swearing in correctly, respecting the law of Kenya and amazingly the rest followed suit. Thank you Mr. Raila Odinga. That was the beginning of a new Kenya! Ever since, all that matters in his life is to see that Kenyans are back to where they were before and focus on development. He got the best position, (Prime Minister) and what he deserved. He triggered the Coalition government and now there is togetherness in the government. Its amazing.
Honorable Keneth Marende
Hey, nobody knew this Nice Man existed. Until when the opposition voted him in as the Speaker. Little did they know that he was and is still touched by God to work for the country but not for those who voted him in. He is the best speaker I know as of today. Did you see how he acted that day? He did according to the law! period! He set things straight! He considered his country and saw it was on fire. He was the only person who could save the country at that time. God did his work in him. And the swearing in started.
President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda
He is famous of accomplishing the last when he took the freight back home. He was in the country for other businesses not to help in peace and reconciliation. Whatever the business was, it amazes me that there was time for other businesses. Anyway, it is because of him other important people decided to come and stick and help solve the crisis. Welcome home Honorable Kofi Anan!
Retired US Secretary General Kofi Anan
Concerned for this country, Kofi Anan has a burden to see Kenya move forward. He patiently talked to Raila and Kibaki to see to it that they see each other like brothers and do it for Kenyans and not for their own benefit. Touched by God, and acting cool, calm and corrected, he seems to help Kenyans realize the power hungry leaders will only torture the country. I don’t know what to say about this important man, all I can say is that, God to bless him more and give him the strength to handle situations like that for Africa. We need him and we all know it. Zimbabwe needs him too. I just pray he doesn’t get tired. And again, I pray that African leaders learn to respect people and not let such situations to happen. It only drags Africa behind.

Well, what do you have to say? Did I leave someone behind? Well, help him get recognized by voting him in with a comment. This article is just a reminder for me and any other interested Kenyan out there who is in love with his/her country. May God bless Kenya, and may his peace reign. Amen!

Hawkers in Kenya are known to be most unsettled business people ever. Fighting across the streets with the city council police all the time. But this has finally come to an end. Someone sat down on his couch and thought that Muthurwa Market could become a good Hawkers market. A good thought implemented; now it is working though slowly.

However I have noted that Kenyans are allergic to change. The government has come to terms with this phobia and is getting used to it. The public vehicles (commonly known as matatus) owners couldn’t agree more on being vacated out of town to do their business in Muthurwa Market. This was just so hard for so many. I overheard a conversation between a “Matatu” conductor and a passenger talking about the strike that was planned by some Matatu owners.

As much as they want to go back to town to pick passengers from there, they are still eager to get some good results out of Muthurwa Market. So they are what I call posi-negatively charged victims. Sorry for them. The Minister Honorable Uhuru Kenyatta won’t laugh with them at this point. He says that the little houses remaining that seem to block “a solution to be found” can as well be demolished just so that they can get a bigger space to pack their vehicles and pick their passengers. At least they are coming into terms with that.

Another prominent phobia is evident in passengers. They are finding it hard to come into terms with walking. I believe this is a hidden strategy for Kenyans to lose their weight and wake up early to go to work. If I ask you now, in what direction is Kenya heading right now, what would you tell me? I believe you would say, its positive. I expect great change in the next five years. People are now working harder; no sleeping any more, the disabled can now work. Nobody should really complain.

One important aspect I have to praise is the fact that town has become professionally presentable to anyone. There is a lot of silence, fresh air, no jam and the only public service vehicles available during the day are the so called beautiful buses that wait patently for passengers to board and alight with respect, they don’t bang, they don’t say “faster faster” just what Kenyans need for Nairobi town as the capital city. It is now presentable!

Muthurwa market is beautiful. Hawkers have found a place and a long term place to sell their products. It is up to us now to support them. Whether you as a Kenyan, or a tourist, just go to Muthurwa market and buy the beautiful products on display. Promote them and lets all contribute in Developing Kenya.
